With decades of experience in the fireworks industry, Steve has built Central Maine Pyrotechnics into a trusted name known for spectacular displays, unmatched expertise, and a commitment to safety. While he continues to oversee the company’s operations, he now enjoys the opportunity to mentor the next generation — passing down his knowledge and passion for pyrotechnics to his son while ensuring that CMP continues to thrive.

Outside of fireworks, he is deeply committed to community service, always looking for ways to give back. When he’s not working behind the scenes, he enjoys spending summers on his boat with family and friends and escaping the Maine winters to relax in Aruba. Whether on the water or lighting up the sky, he continues to bring excitement, tradition, and excellence to everything he does.

Turning Sparks Into Spectacular Displays!

Fireworks have always been a part of Anthony’s life. Growing up, he worked alongside his father, developing a deep passion for pyrotechnics, precision, and creating unforgettable experiences. That passion led him back to the family business in 2017, where he now oversees fireworks displays, consumer sales, and large-scale event management with the same dedication and excitement his father has always had. His path to Central Maine Pyrotechnics was shaped by a diverse and demanding career. He attended Maine Maritime Academy, then answered the call to serve his country, deploying twice as an infantryman in the Maine Army Guard to Afghanistan and Iraq. After returning, he completed his degree in marine engineering at MMA and shipped out for several years before coming home to take over the family business.

His experiences in both military leadership and engineering give him a unique edge in managing high-stakes operations, logistics, and precision planning — all critical in the world of professional pyrotechnics. A devoted husband and father of four, he lives in central Maine, where he enjoys being on the water, hiking, and spending time with his children. Whether orchestrating fireworks displays or making lifelong memories with his family, he brings discipline, passion, and expertise to everything he does.

Designing Explosive Shows that Wow Crowds!

Since joining Central Maine Pyrotechnics in 2023, Amos has played a key role in expanding the business and bringing fireworks to more events across the region. As the Commercial Fireworks Manager, he works closely with towns, event planners, and corporate clients to design and execute breathtaking professional displays. His focus is on precision, safety, and delivering unforgettable experiences for every audience.

Born and raised in Maine, he has always had a love for fireworks and live events, which made joining the CMP team a natural fit. In addition to managing displays, he’s also a licensed pyrotechnician who enjoys being in the field, helping set up and fire shows whenever he gets the chance.

Outside of work, he enjoys life in Maine with his wife and their dog, embracing the outdoors and the excitement of lighting up the sky — both in business and in his free time.

As a family member of Central Maine Pyrotechnics, Ian has been part of the fireworks industry for as long as he can remember. Since officially joining the company in 2011, he has built a deep expertise in consumer fireworks, ensuring that every customer — from backyard enthusiasts to large-scale retailers — gets the best products and advice. His years of hands-on experience make him an invaluable resource for fireworks safety, selection, and seasonal sales operations.

Growing up in small-town Maine, he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for bringing people together through fireworks. Now, as a husband and father of two, he enjoys sharing that same excitement with his own family. In addition to managing retail operations, he loves getting out in the field to help shoot shows whenever he can. Whether he’s helping customers pick the perfect fireworks or setting up dazzling displays, he brings dedication, experience, and a family-driven passion for pyrotechnics to everything he does.

Kim is the financial backbone of Central Maine Pyrotechnics, ensuring that everything from payroll to invoicing and financial records runs smoothly. With a keen eye for accuracy and organization, she manages the company’s finances, tracks expenses, and keeps the business on solid financial footing.

Her dedication ensures that fireworks displays go off without a hitch — not just in the sky, but on the balance sheet too! When she’s not managing the numbers, she enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, cherishing the moments that shine just as brightly as a fireworks finale.
